I would say depending on the consequence, if we get together again then it's funny, but if we've never get back together again it's a pity.

Life is? who know! But we could look at it this way to explain it. Its like a round shiny ball, one angel reflection, u see this. The other angel u see that, what ever you see is all depend on your perception. Anything that happen aren't funny or pity but its happen because of humans behavior.
Different perceptions lead to conflict if we don't wanna compromise.
If you're not in the situation. You might think it's funny because it's like you look from the outside and it's all like a drama to you. Breaking up, getting together, and breaking up, and then getting together... over and over again.
